Brendan Fogarty, Consultant plastic surgeon and lead clinician for plastic and burn surgery at the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

All procedures are performed by Mr Fogarty locally and where general anaesthesia is required this is administered by a local NHS consultant anaesthetist.

Mr Fogarty is an accredited plastic surgeon on the GMCs specialist register for plastic surgery and a member of British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (BAAPs) and BAPRAS (formerly known as BAPS, and is a regional BAAPS mentor/trainer in aesthetic surgery to junior consultants.

Mr Fogarty graduated from Queen's University Belfast and during his plastic surgery training has worked in London, Bristol and Belfast. Mr Fogarty has a subspecialist interest in cosmetic surgery and during his subspecialty training in aesthetic surgery was the aesthetic surgery fellow at the King Edward the VII hospital, London in 2004.

Mr Fogarty also featured as the focus of BBC Northern Ireland's "Superdocs" program on plastic and reconstructive surgery aired in December 2009.

Post op care? Mr Fogarty himself will see on a regular basis, carrying out post operative checks, all dressing changes and can see patients as often as clinically required if any issues arise. He is easily contactable and is based in Belfast.
